Being a self-healer through meditation means that you thrive on independence – but that doesn’t mean you have to be a self-healer on your own. With NeuralSync™, the technology behind my audios can help assist you on your meditation journey.
Why do self-healers love meditation? Meditation isn’t only a great way of achieving emotional or spiritual tranquility – nearly every culture has a form of meditation (prayer, qi gong, etc) that has healing properties. No matter what your preferred form is, even scientists agree that meditation has tremendous benefits, such as:
Less stress, and healthier organs. When we’re stressed, it’s hard to be ourselves, much less feel like ourselves. Using meditation to dissolve stress alone can improve your sleep, depression, anxiety, decrease blood pressure, and negate fatigue and cloudy thinking. These can lead to very significant changes in our lifestyle, health, and overall happiness.
Decreasing your blood pressure is a huge benefit on its own. In 2018, nearly half a million deaths in the United States included hypertension as a primary or contributing cause. Since high blood pressure pushes against the walls of your arteries, it’s known as the “silent killer” and can have a highly detrimental effect on your organ and heart health. Numerous studies have shown that meditation is an effective, natural remedy for high blood pressure.
Less age-related memory loss. Studies suggest that meditation’s ability to make improvements to our attention span and clarity of thinking may help keep our minds young. One study showed that people with age-related memory loss showed improved performance on neuropsychological tests.
But what if dementia runs in your family? Besides normal age-related memory loss, another study showed that meditation can partially improve memory with dementia patients, offering a way to control stress and make care a little easier for caretakers.
